Health Education Coordinator
Nancy Gomez is the Health Education Coordinator at Corazon Community Services. She provides sexual health education courses to Berwyn/Cicero schools, free & confidential HIV/STI counseling, and overall strives to serve her community in any way possible under the Corazon mission. She currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology in Social Services & Spanish from Dominican University. Nancy began her journey at Corazon back in 2016 under the Teen REACH program at Unity Junior High as a Youth Worker. She began a new position in 2021 at Freedom Middle School for Berwyn School District 100 assisting students under the Special Education program. From there, her passion for education grew and came back to Corazon under the Health Department. Nancy is thrilled to join the Corazon team again under this new role that will help her serve her community, youth, and families through a holistic approach. She plans on returning to school for her Master’s in School Counseling to mentor and assist students in their education and beyond. Nancy is excited to start this new chapter here at Corazon Community Services.
