Director of Youth Programs

Montserrat Sanchez (Monse) serves as the Director of Youth Services at Corazón Community Services. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Dominican University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University, proudly being the first in her family to achieve higher education. Monse’s dedication to social work is deeply rooted in her early experiences assisting youth and the homeless through her local church youth group. Growing up in a Hispanic household, she has a keen understanding of the challenges faced by young people in her community. Monse is committed to dismantling the barriers and cycles that impede the true potential of the youth she serves. With three years of experience in her current role, she is enthusiastic about bringing new insights and resources to Corazón Community Services to enhance the support and opportunities available to the community’s youth.
