Lab Purpose and Usage
Excerpt from Snipes agreement:
Snipes, a Philadelphia-based retailer of basketball shoes and other lifestyle apparel and accessories, wishes to give back to Cicero, IL residents by fostering among the youth greater science, technology, math, engineering, and math (“STEM”) and computer literacy skills pursuant to its “Crack The Code” program.
Excerpt from Hispanic Federation Statement of Work:
In partnership with Snipes, Hispanic Federation will work with 2 Latino nonprofit community-based organizations (CBO’s) located in Cicero, IL and Philadelphia, PA to ensure the provision of digital skills training to Latino students, adult learners, and jobseekers, to increase educational and workplace opportunities and improve economic mobility.
Nonprofits will receive digital skills training curriculum, training to provide remote and in-person classes, participation in online and in-person regional and national convenings, strategy toolkits, proposal templates, and access to the online digital skilling center. Housed in Snipes Computer Labs, CBOs will provide training on Hispanic Federation’s customized digital skills courses responsive to the needs of area employers, including certificate programs that are in demand by local employers.
The primary goals of the program are to connect people to the Internet, provide digital skills training, advance economic mobility, and prepare participants for the workforce of tomorrow. A minimum of 500 participants will receive the training, which will be focused in areas within Snipes footprint.
Naming Convention
For inventory management purposes, each Desktop will be named as such:
CCT-DT-001
CCT-DT-002
CCT-DT-003
CCT-DT-004
CCT-DT-005
CCT-DT-006
CCT-DT-007
CCT-DT-008
CCT-DT-009
CCT-DT-010
Login Information
Right now, each Desktop (except for CCT-DT-001) has two (2) accounts, “Corazon Admin” and “Corazon Guest”.
This distinction may change in the future, but at present, this differentiation is to implement prototypical/tentative security protocols. In essence, this structuring grants you all administrative privileges to each desktop so that you can change settings and troubleshoot as needed.
There is one more Microsoft “master” account that changes every user role, function, and licensure that I have not included in this document for an extra layer of security. In the event that you encounter any unmanageable security issue, need to create/delete a Microsoft account, assign a Microsoft license, etc., please defer to me or Esteban. I don’t expect to be using this third account often, but it is available just in case for contingencies. - Mason
Here is the login information for every desktop. Please keep this safe!

5. Logging Out:
Remind users to log out of their accounts when leaving a computer to maintain security.
