  • Once your Google Workspace Account set up, you will be able to use Google Calendar to get invitations and notifications on company-wide events, meetings, closures, etc.

    Since each department has various initiatives happening simultaneously, Google Calendar is the most fluid and flexible option to keep up with timelines.

    Click here to subscribe to the agency’s Zenefits calendar, which displays various milestones such as birthdays and start date anniversaries.

🗂️ Human Resources

  • To request time off, login to your Zenefits app, navigate to “Time Off,” and click “Request Time Off”. Follow the prompts accordingly and submit. Your supervisor will then approve or deny your request.

  • See above; use your Zenefits app and communicate with your supervisor to report these absences.

  • Not to be confused with paid time off (PTO), and vacation time, a leave of absence is a way for employees who are experiencing out-of-the-ordinary circumstances to take time off work.

    Common reasons are childbirth, adoption, caring for an ill family member, serious health conditions, or military leave.

    In cases such as these, employees may be entitled to leave by federal or state law.

    Consult with the Director of Operations as well as your supervisor if you are experiencing complex circumstances that require a leave of absence beyond regular PTO or vacation time.

  • Login to your Zenefits app, navigate to “More,” and click on “Insurance” to see your Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance. We currently use Principal for Dental, Vision, and Basic AD&D, as well as United Healthcare for Medical coverage.

    *Note that this option will not appear unless you are a Full Time employee who has enrolled in insurance coverage.

    For hourly employees, Corazon offers a 403(b) Retirement Plan through Human Interest, which you are automatically enrolled in at a 7% contribution rate upon completion of onboarding.

  • Login to your Zenefits app, navigate to “More,” and click “Update my Info”.

  • There are various methods to report a workplace incident or safety concern.

    Depending on the situation, your direct supervisor may be able to address the issue. However, if the concern is more complex, you may either contact the Director of Operations or fill out an Employee Grievance Form.

    In any case, there will be appropriate follow up for as long as an internal investigation is necessary.

  • If you need accommodations, please ask as soon as you’re aware you need them.

    This can help us better understand your specific needs and allow us time to accommodate your request before there’s a major interference in physical, mental, and emotional health.

💻 Information Technology

  • Contact the Director of Operations or the Executive Director.

  • Generally speaking, the only accounts you will frequently be using are your Google Workspace Account, which allows you access to the Google Suite, and your Zenefits account, which is your HR/Payroll platform.

    If you lose access to either account, contact the Director of Operations in order to reset your password and regain access.

    For those of you who will be using other applications/software such as Canva, Instagram, Zoom, Adobe, etc. (for programmatic purposes), contact your direct supervisor. They will usually have access to those accounts and can provide further details.

  • While some tools and platforms may enhance (or even be required for) your role, access to others may be limited or prohibited altogether.

    Communicate with your supervisor to determine what tools, software, and/or platforms you should have access to.

  • Access Slack for web or download Slack (iOS) (Android).

    Keep in mind we also utilize Google Suite, Zoom, and texting (though we are transitioning away from the latter for improved work-life boundaries).

    The Healthy Minds Program App offers a guided path to well-being, grounded in neuroscience from the Center for Healthy Minds and the concept that people can train their minds to be more calm, focused and resilient. It was unique and innovative in a broad field of well-being and meditation apps.
