Roxana is currently finishing up her bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago, majoring in disability and human development and minoring in anthropology and sociology, with the goal of then earning her master of social work degree. Roxana has been working with various age groups for four years and is very passionate about being a positive influence and mentor to the individuals she works with.
As a young girl, Roxana started her journey with Corazón at the Teen REACH program, and shortly afterward joined FUERZA where she was an active member and leader. Roxana is excited to be back as an employee and hopes to leave an impact in the organization and community, just like they have done for her. When she is not at work or school, Roxana enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and bike-riding.
